Technical Operations Manager
We are currently working with one of Northern Irelands most well-established food manufacturing companies as they look to add a Technical Operations Manager to their team.
Are you an ambitious individual who is capable of overseeing the technical aspects of production ensuring compliance and the successful execution of processes and factory standards are upheld? This role bridges technical teams and operational staff to implement solutions that align with the company goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance and training to the QA team, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
- Plan, coordinate and implement technical projects to ensure success and achievement of objectives.
- Participate in the internal audits such as GMP, hygiene audits and systems audits.
- To assist in preparation and take part in external audits and visits.
- Participate in NPD factory trials
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A degree in Food Science or a related technical field.
- Qualification in auditing
- 3+ years’ experience in a technical management role
- Leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage team
- Experience with major retailers
