Area Pharmacy Manager

We are recruiting a highly motivated experienced Pharmacist to oversee the operations for our client based in the North West Area to include Londonderry/Derry, Strabane, Limavady and Omagh.

The Client:

The client operates 50+ busy high volume retail pharmacies which are located across Northern Ireland. Employing over 700 staff, including 100 pharmacists, they are the biggest indigenous pharmacy group in Northern Ireland.

The Role:

To ensure the effective and efficient operation of clients pharmacies within the designated region to maximise NHS and OTC sales and profitability. To ensure all staff and pharmacists working within each branch comply with all statutory and/or professional obligations.

The Person:

  • Membership of, or eligible to be registered with, the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a community pharmacy manager.
  • Hold a full, current driving licence and have use of a car, or access to a form of transport that will enable you to fully meet the requirements of the role.
  • Significant knowledge of the NI pharmacy context.
  • Excellent IT skills, including working experience of MPS, McLernons, EPOS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint).
