Supply Chain Manager

SEDA Talent are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join the team at a Multi- National FMCG business in Ballymena.
As a member of the site senior team the post is accountable for steering supply chain strategy and managing the 24/7 supply chain operations at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the site intake, despatch and stores teams with clear objectives / accountabilities so as to provide effective support to the business through high performing teams.
- Delivering the site budget
- Analyse sales forecasts against plant capacity and support the plant to succeed.
- Procurement of all raw materials and packaging to meet the demands of production
- Ensure a structured approach to OPEX is in place across the Supply Chain Departments, ensuring that all teams use the appropriate tools and techniques
- Work with Technical, Production Management and customers to ensure product mix/SKUs are right for the factory
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven senior management and leadership experience within a Supply Chain environment within the FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing experience
- Capacity Planning/Modelling
- Commercial awareness
