Reliability Engineer

Your role:
- Data analysis of engineering captured data to identify worse performing areas.
- Data analysis of operational captured data to identify worse performing areas.
- Root cause analysis activities conducted routinely to identify possible causes of failure and implement corrective actions.
- Improvement projects identified and implemented based on performance and root cause activities undertaken.
- Improvement projects to be validated through operational excellence & finance where possible.
- Creation and Annual review of condition-based monitoring initiatives agreed by engineering management team.
- Act as a mentor to engineering apprentices, holding regular 1-2-1 reviews and documenting progression.
- Act as 2nd in command to engineering team leader, performing all aspects of the role when required.
What they are Looking For:
- Technical Hands-On Engineering Experience, preferably through recognised time-served apprenticeship within food manufacturing
- Technical qualifications and competence in mechanical/electrical
- BTEC Engineering certificate/equivalent qualification
- Broad Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical & PLC/Inverter Assets
- Skills and capability to logically diagnose and fault find on a variety of equipment/situations.
- Experience of Root cause analysis activities
